Blue has long been associated with melancholy and quiet sorrow. In this photographic series, however, it is reimagined as a visual metaphor for the profound solitude experienced by individuals living with dementia. As memory gradually dissolves into fragmented traces, one's sense of identity begins to erode, leaving behind an existence marked by absence – a body that remains, while the self slowly recedes. Inspired by The Caregiver, this series comprises five photographs, each representing a different stage in the disappearance of memory, tracing a gradual passage from remembrance toward oblivion.
