Le Désir explores the enduring objectification of women within photography and cinematography, where the female figure has often been framed as a site of visual pleasure or as an embodiment of prescribed ideals of beauty. Employing the anaglyph technique, the series creates a subtle dissonance between perception and reality, suggesting that the image presented to the viewer rarely reveals the complexity of the individual behind it. Rather than asking the subject to conform to the gaze of light or the camera, the work invites a moment of self-reflection, questioning how identity is constructed, perceived, and ultimately understood.
